Program Cliffs:
  • This spreadsheet was created based on a program posted to Breaking Muscle by Chad Vaughn
    • A Chad Vaughn program was requested by a user of this site
  • The program follows 4 Principles he feels are important for success in weightlifting
    • Overhead Stability, Bar Path, Extension, Head Movement
  • 5Day/Week Program with technique focus
    •  Expect pauses, slower pulls, a focus on body movement and positions
  • There is a fair bit of "self-selection" for this program
    • Some weights have not been listed, nor is there always an exact number of sets
      • You will have to go based on feel, as this program is designed for ingraining better technique rather than increasing your lifts directly
  • Programming is based around 1RM on varying exercises
    • This may not be a true beginner program due to the need for 1RM on a variety of exercises. 
    • Personally, I could see some benefit on using this as a 4 week primer for technical focus before a more demanding program
