Program Cliffs:
- 12 Weeks, 2 squat emphasis days per week
- This program is intended to be run with both Back Squat and Front Squat sets on the same day. Complete all back Squat sets before moving on to Front Squats.
- Gayle Hatch was the US Weightlifting Coach in 2004, and this is a squat program he developed
- This program is not a comprehensive program so it will require additional exercise selection by the user - per the above link, the blog author (Mike Burgener) noted in the comments to consider:
- Monday: Snatch exercises
- Tuesday: Squat program
- Wednesday: C&J exercises
- Thursday: Squat program
- Friday: Rest
- Saturday: Snatch and C&J
- Again, please note that this template is very bare bones and requires additional work by the user to cover weak areas, emphasize technique, strength, etc.
- Users may consider splitting the workouts to Squatting Monday and Wednesday, and then putting classic work on Tuesday and Thursday. This setup would be similar to the style of Catalyst 7 Week Squat program.
