Program Cliffs:
- This spreadsheet was created to include all of the cycles posted by Oklahoma Weightlifting. The cycles are designed to address specific weaknesses in your training. The cycles are:
- 6 Week Jerk Technique
- Includes a variety of overhead work, higher volume and varying rep schemes to improve overhead stability and strength
- 8 Week Complexes & On-The-Minute
- Includes more volume and positional based work, as well as reps on the minute to help improve and solidify technique
- The 4 Week Back-Squat Cycle is not included in the spreadsheet. This cycle is similar to the Catalyst Leg Strength Block 1
- Each cycle runs 5 days per week
- Please review the specific cycle to meet your needs and review the rep schemes
- All of the programs listed will have a max day at the end of the cycle for testing
- These would be excellent programs to run for improving a specific weakness or issue
- Consider using them for one or two cycles with proper cues, and then move onto a program designed to peak toward competition
- More information can be found at their website.
- The spreadsheet contains program descriptions as well.
Some great programs here, I'm going to try the Fix your Jerk one. It's been really annoying recently, cleaning a weight easily but still pushing the jerk out in front
